About
I am a furniture maker based in Leyton, East London. I trained as an artist, graduated with an MA in Fine Art in 2006 and specialised in sculpture. I started making furniture in 2011 after working as a set builder and being immersed with interior photoshoots and high end furniture.
My background sets my approach to work, which is intuitive and user oriented.
Services
I build bespoke fitted furniture, wardrobes and kitchens. I use matt cellulose spray lacquer finishes as standard, painted or veneered carcasses and dovetailed solid wood drawers. I always use top spec Blum hardware and integrated door activated LED lighting.
Process
After receiving a brief from the client, I will send an estimate price or make a site visit to measure up and discuss the project. Following the visit I will provide an estimate and written proposal.
I work in a three phased approach, itemised as the Design, Production and Installation phases. Each phase is a separate piece of work and invoiced per successive stage.
Manufacture
All work is produced in the workshop in East London to minimise disruption on site as much as possible.
I work as cleanly and efficiently as possible to install projects swiftly.
