I am a furniture maker based in Leyton, East London. I trained as an artist, graduated with an MA in Fine Art in 2006 and specialised in sculpture. I started making furniture in 2011 after working as a set builder and being immersed with interior photoshoots and high end furniture.

My background sets my approach to work, which is intuitive and user oriented.

I build bespoke fitted furniture, wardrobes and kitchens. I use matt cellulose spray lacquer finishes as standard, painted or veneered carcasses and dovetailed solid wood drawers. I always use top spec Blum hardware and Hafele integrated door activated LED lighting.

After receiving a brief from the client, I try to make a site visit soon after to measure up and discuss the project. Following the visit I will provide an estimate.

After budgets have been agreed I will start to produce CAD drawings for approval and sign off. At this point I typically take a 50% deposit when I'm ready to start production.

All work is produced in the workshop in East London to minimise disruption on site as much as possible.

I work as cleanly and efficiently as possible to install projects swiftly. Upon installation the balance 50% is then due.

Bespoke furniture is inherently dependant upon size, material and finish. However, there are a few guidelines which can help to give an indication to pricing.

Kitchens from £12,000 +VAT
Alcove wardrobes starting from £3,000 +VAT
Fitted wardrobes starting from £1,700 +VAT per metre
Drawers £160 +VAT

Prices are guidelines and not set.
